• PhatBuzz : Ever mastered a song and felt like "It's perfect!"? You don't want to touch it anymore except giving as much bass as possible without clipping or distorting? That's PhatBuzz! A post-processing tool designed not to touch a single sample of your music when it cannot do any good to it.

A sequencer VSTi based around the idea of midinotes being generated by balls moving around inside a rectangular area. Notes are triggered whenever a ball collides with the boundary of the rectangle. You can set parameters that will control the movement of each ball, in addition to possible note and velocity values.

This is a VST plugin to reduce flutter (pitch variations) from analog tapes caused by excentricity or dirt on the capstan axle (or to correct for any periodic pitch variations in audio material). Or any other cyclical pitch variation. The pitch change cycles are locked to VST time position. Very precise frequency control (down to a ten-thousandth of a Hz). Stereo processing.

VstNotes is a free VST notepad plugin with unlimited number of lines, several fonts and fontsizes etc.

Shortcircuit Free is a free version of the Shortcircuit sampler VSTi that is limited to 2-note polyphony and 2 instances.

Each voice in shortcircuit features two filter-slots, and the selection isn't limited to the traditional pick. In addition to the regular lowpass/highpass/bandpass/notch & peak-filters and variations thereof there is an array of filter algorithms (not strictly filters in the traditional sense, but called so because of their location in the audio path) including distortion, parametric/graphic/morphing equalizers,bit-reduction/decimation, gating, limiting, slew-rate distortion, ring-modulation, frequency shifting and phase-modulation (better known as FM). The selection even includes analog-style oscillators that you can mix with the sample.

Livecut is based on BBCut the BreakBeat Cutting library written by Nick Collins for SuperCollider.

It is a live beat-slicer but instead of manipulating equal chunks of audio like most beatslicers do, it works on the notion of audio cuts whose length and number of repetition depends on the context and the cutting procedure. Cuts are organized in blocks which then form a phrase.

Glitch chops up your audio in real-time and applies a variety of effects which can either be chosen at random, manually sequenced, or a mixture of both. The sounds it generates range from quite subtle to extremely bizarre, depending on how much you tweak the controls.

Buzzer2 is a Polyphonic Stereo SoftSynth AudioUnit for Mac OSX. It emulates an analog synthesizer layout. It's basically buzzer with a feature updated DSP engine and a new userfriendly GUI

When you just have to have four filters being modulated by a total of twelve LFOs, you need Minion!

It's got balls, you see. Four of them, pinging and swinging their way around an innovative XYZ pad that's used to control the plug-in and to give visual feedback. And for each ball, there's an effect module, and each of those can produce one of a variety of filter effects, including several filter/distortion combinations. Minion also comes with numerous presets that demonstrate the range of audio warping possible.

• Post filtering option (PF) applies lowpass filtering at first and second band vBalance control applied before waveshaping for wide stereo effects

It works like this: incoming (mono) sound is fed into a delay line from which small pieces of various durations and at different moments in the past are selected. Each of these pieces is then amplified, transposed and enveloped to form a "grain". Each grain is also randomly panned and the whole mix is sent out to a stereo output stream. Feedback of the grain output back into the delay line is also provided, and the delay line can also be frozen so that the grains are only taken from what is currently stored in the delay line.

Inspired by the great DLGranulator effect in Ross Bencina's AudioMulch.

This is a reverb unit plug-in suitable mainly for instruments and sounds which do not have sharp percussive elements to them, otherwise this reverb sounds too edgy. This reverb is great at creating additional ambience.

The Gater is a stereo BPM-synchronised rhythmic gate. The yellow buttons select for each 16th note (semiquaver) in a bar whether the gates are on or off. GATE SHAPE DISPLAY Selects either the sustaining or decaying gate shape by clicking in the display. The red button randomises the gate settings each time it is clicked...

Super-Eel 2.0 does 4 different things:

LiveSync Recorder is a VST FX plugin which lets you capture, preview, and export audio as 1 or 2-bar loops, all in sync with your host's BPM! This is a very useful plugin for recording musicians; you can essentially keep only the good parts of one's performance while they jam!

It is also a great plug-in for grabbing those "happy accidents" right after they happen.... Never lose that "magic moment" that occurs while tweaking a VSTi or VST FX again!

The commercial version of LSR has 8-bar record+save buffers instead of 2-bar as in the free version, which makes it much less manic to operate! This is a great tool for capturing and creating a bunch of variations/loops quickly.
